Invitation to 2026 Convocation
Convocation this year is Oct. 7, at 7pm, at Christ the King Anglican Church, 555 S. 13th St., Suit G, in Grover Beach.
Classes are underway for our Michaelmas (Fall) term for 2026! On October 7, at 7pm, we will gather for our first Ascension Academy Convocation, a service of worship and prayer to dedicate our efforts this year to our Lord Jesus Christ. After our worship, our headmaster, Fr. Kent Bartel, will address the topic, “The What’s and Why’s of Classical Education.” This will be followed by a time of refreshments, during which Fr. Kent will be available for further informal discussion.
All are invited to come out and to pray with and for us. Education should be a top priority of the Church and of our Society in general, for today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. This is a great opportunity to learn about classical education and to get to know us: who we are, what we are about, and where we are headed.
